# MainStreetKeys

> MainStreetKeys is a chat-first search for businesses for sale. Describe the company you want to buy. MainStreetKeys returns matching listings with asking price, revenue, profit, and multiple, each linked to the original broker page.

MainStreetKeys is not a business broker and is not affiliated with QuietLight, Empire Flippers, Accounting Practice Sales, or Simmons & Associates. It does not invent listings. Figures are the ones those brokers published. Descriptions and images stay on the source site.

The canonical site is https://www.mainstreetkeys.com. The apex host redirects there.

## How search works

- A person writes a brief in plain English (price, profit, revenue, multiple, business model, practice type, US state, niche).
- MainStreetKeys turns that brief into filters and searches its catalog.
- The conversation stays open. A follow-up such as "only under 3x" or "just Texas" refines the same search.
- Results show the numbers the broker published and link to the original listing.
- A CSV of the matches can be downloaded (first 25 rows free; every row for Pro).
- An email address can be saved against a search. Pro members get a daily email alert (about 7 AM Arizona time) with new listings that match their saved searches. Free saves get no alerts.

With no database configured, the catalog is the bundled data/listings.json shipped with this site (QuietLight, Empire Flippers, Accounting Practice Sales, and Simmons & Associates). The listing count on the homepage and on the businesses-for-sale pages is computed from that file. Catalog pages were last updated October 31, 2026.

- Free: 3 new searches per day. Follow-up refinements in the same conversation do not count toward that limit. CSV download of the first 25 matches is included.
- MainStreetKeys Pro: $19/month or $171/year. Unlimited searches, full CSV export and daily email alerts for saved searches.
